McConnell is finally doing something in a game against us and Terry is having a rare awful game.  And people actually think this is the norm?  McConnell would AT BEST be our 5th guard.  He's basically Larkin getting more minutes.  Nothing more to see here.

What??

A rare awful game?

He shot 3-11 and 1-7 last game.  I call that AWFUL and that was JUST TWO DAYS ago!!

Yes.  It's still rare when it doesn't happen that often.  2-6 games out of the whole season qualifies as RARE.

He shot 3-7 the previous game and he shot 1-7 and 0-2 vs. the Nets in the one before that!

That is three in a ROW!!

God I love Smart lol

I actually think he's had a great overall night outside of the turnovers.

Not great but he did about as much as he needed to.  Others have added nothing.

Please tell me that Kyrie Irving is over on the bench area tonite. Please tell me he didn't stay home again because he is hurt. I don't see him over there ?

I'm pretty much censored from mentioning him on the blog now, but if that's true... not cool.

there's a break  8)

I agree. I think we would be ok if you didn't mention Irving again.

Where was this urgency a long long long time ago?

I do not understand why the ball is not going into the hands of people who can actually score. Why is Larkin getting so many shots? Like, what is Stevens doing? Or did he just give up on coaching this game?

I think all of those comebacks have spoiled these Celtics and made them think they can "turn it on" and win games by just playing halves at a time.

He's at the game.  Actual LOL at the fact that you are in a sudden panic over this.

I knew I would hear a few comments about this question, though lots of regular members here have their own little obsessions with this team (Roy & Terry Rozier)

Kyrie leaving early and then not attending the subsequent home game when he had the facial injury was not a good look for me. This is an important issue because this group thrived on chemistry last year and much of that chemistry was traded and Kyrie is not exactly famous for being a great teammate. He seems to have put some effort towards that this year, but I'm afraid his basic nature is that of a self-centered person and that ain't what the Celtics are about.

So, you say he is at the game......................exactly where is he, cause I don't see him over there in the bench area anywhere ??

Honestly: what are you talking about?  Who is not getting the ball that you think should?  Everyone is seeing it and not making aggressive moves, not getting open, not back cutting.  No one is being froze out.

Well look on the bright side.  Only 4 turnovers so far for the 2nd half.  At least we cleaned that up.
 Hurrah for empty victories.

He was interviewed before the game.  He is there.

What did you think about KG never being on the bench?

Keep blaming him dude, LOL.

Okay what the hell is with the Celtics playing like Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. around the same time Smart actually hits some shots?

We might want to dial down the angst a little bit.  We're having a bad game while missing our top two offensive options.
