Goes to show that you can't play with your head up your ass for 42 minutes and expect to turn it on in the closing minutes.

I guess you can't win them all...

Yup.  On to the next.  Although if we lose to Orlando then we have some real reason for concern.

same with baynes he doesn't provide anyrhing..

Clearly one of the best post defenders in the league doesn't provide anything?
He's clearly getting abused in the post by embiid all night..

Just ticks me off that we have seemingly not put together a full game with this type of effort this season. There's a clear correlation between our defensive energy and how well we play. When we don't play with energy defensively we just aren't the same team.

Horford just standing around letting that pass go right to Simmons. Pretty dumb to not go ahead and foul him once he had it.

Lots of uncharacteristic mistakes from Horford tonight.  I'm not concerned about it because he's a solid vet, but we really needed more from him especially with Kyrie out.

He was great on defense a lot of the game I thought but he had occasional lapses which were unusual.

All night in 15 minutes of action?  He's one of the very best post defenders in the NBA this year.  Embiid is legitimately unstoppable by a singleteam when he gets going.  Regardless he went off when Baynes wasn't in and Baynes has again played 15 minutes to Embiid's 35.  Not sure I am blaming a guy who played less than half his minutes.

I would say that 95% of bigs get abused by Embiid.

The last 2 games have been 2 of the worst losses of the season. Not so much the losing part but the effort. They look listless.

Better hope Kyrie is not out for several games.

I'd say the blowout loss against Chicago was the worst.  Otherwise I agree - these past two games have been horrible to watch.

Celtics could be playing a sophisticated game of possum trying to rope-a-dope. Only behind by 11.

Chicago was bad. But sometimes you have clunkers. Just disappointing is all, especially after the poor game vs NOP.

Terrible. Yes, we were missing Kyrie, but the effort and smart play were just not there all night long. We have to be better than that. Brad has to figure out how to get this team to play more consistent for 48 minutes.

Okay, I find Embiid annoying, but that denial of Rihanna now that he's an All-Star was epic lol
