Oh well.  Beat Philly on Thursday and all will be right in the world again.

Also, Lauren Holtkamp should be kept as far away from a professional basketball court as possible at all times.  If only we were all as bad as she is at our respective jobs but got to keep said job, nothing productive would ever get done in this world.  One of the worst referees in the NBA and that's saying a lot.

To be honest, the C's didn't deserve this game, but they certainly had their chances too.

Poor execution late.

Crappy game - we didn't deserve it. Unbelievable how many ill-advised iso shots we took this game (looking at you Kyrie, Smart, Rozier, and [kinda] Morris).

The defense was also not all that. We came out sluggish and the players looked like they assumed they would come back to win it...they need to learn that they can't just fall behind every game.

I also wonder how many possessions we gave the Pelicans on lost jump balls. Not including the opening tip, I think we gave them four additional possessions - that is like four TOs.

Well deserved loss imo. They didn't play well tonight.

They took more 3pt shots than 2s. Not good.

Tough loss.  Still have a 3 1/2 game lead in the conference.

Pels have the type team,   unless the threes are falling lights out can give small ball clubs fits.

Celtics have to shoot way better to beat a bigs club .

IT was King the final moments against this situation last year.

I really hate when Marcus takes those dumb shots.. even the midrange he made in OT was an idiotic shot then he follows that with a contested 3..

Did we have a freaking timeout left??

We did.  I was yelling at my feed to call TO.

Yet another game Brad blows with this terrible technique. So, so, so, so dumb. For such a good coach, I don't understand how he can consistently make these bad decisions. That makes no sense whatsoever.

Sometimes it pays off if there's cross-matches in transition, but once Brad saw that Holiday picked up Irving he should have called TO.  Draw up a play.
But that doesn't matter when you need a three because no-one will be playing you to drive the ball. Call the bleeping TO and don't be too smart for your own good.

Yep. As good as Brad is at drawing up ATO plays, he should be calling it every single time this happens. It's baffling that he continues to make this mistake, especially given that it's almost always failed us. Just a bad, bad habit of Brad's that he needs to break.

Now we've reached the affirmative action part of the ref ranting.  With that, good night guys.
