If the Celtics trade let's say Nader for a second rounder can they use his salary with the DPE  for getting 2 players like dedmon and tyreke? Does anybody know?

Nader’s salary cannot be added to the DPE.  If the other team wanted Nader as part of their compensation for a player, he could be included in a trade, and the Celtics would get a trade exception equal to Nader’s very small salary.

Also, I don’t believe the DPE can be used for multiple players.

Yes, this is also true.

Dedmon has another year left on his contract, doesn’t he? If so, he’s not eligible for the DPE for that reason. If it’s a second year option, therecould be a DPE Trade only if the option was waived prior to the trade.

Dedmon has a player option.  I expect he’ll decline it this summer, although he might not be willing to waive it to facilitate a trade.

Not like he would bring anything in return either.

He’s probably more valuable than a late 2nd in 2020, however.  The Celtics still have to include something in a trade, and they don’t have 2nds in 2018 or 2019.
