We can't go after all players that appear to be tradeble.

Gordon definitely isn't our fit at this stage of his career.
However if I am Milwaukee, I'd much rather go for him than for DJ.
AG fits their timeline, their MO, is a freak athlete as Giannis, that team would be fun.
With them being 4 and 5. KM is a 3, and Snell and Bledsoe at guards.
Brogdon is a player I would look to deal for AG. His value will never be higher.
Orlando would surely seek younger players (psst, can't say young for Brogdon :))
I'd try to keep Jabari, as he has the best mano-a-mano scoring potential of the bunch.

DJ is an older, overpayed center that can't crack the leagues best clutch 5ies. His phyisical ability will vanish with time and so will all his good attributes with it. All except his positive and likeable nature.

It is kind of crazy they keep getting rid of their best players.

That is because when they play actual basketball games with their best players, they lose.

The Magic having interest in trading Gordon is a red flag for me. It may just come down to them not wanting to pay him big money as a RFA but I still have my concerns.

I like him as a player but he will be over paid for his potential role on the Cs. Unless the Cs trade Brown or Tatum to get Gordon he will end up on the bench next season and for that reason isnt worth consideration.

Looking around at potential trades involving other teams I came up with this..

UTAH and Orlando

Utah gets Gordon, Biyombo, and Mack

Magic get Hood, Rubio, Favors and Utah 2018 1st top 8 protected

Mavs
Wiz
Hornet

Gordon has no fit here and we couldn't afford to pay him even if he did.

Sounds like a square leg in a round hole type situation if I ever heard one.

Maybe in 4 years he will get bought out from the last year of his contract on a struggling team and we can sign him using a DPE that we acquire from an unfortunate injury.

I like Gordon - same as I liked Monroe a few years ago (when we were a lot more desperate for talent), but I can’t imagine a scenario where we trade for him and sign him to big money...unless we trade Horford and Tatum/Brown for AD - and that is likely not happening..

It is kind of crazy they keep getting rid of their best players.

You would think they would've learned their lesson from Oladipo.

Gordon is a horrible fit for this team personnel wise and his contract would be disastrous for thesalary balance this team needs over the coming years. We might not be able to afford Smart, nevermind Smart and Gordon.

No worse fit-wise than Mook Morris and his ball stopping iso nonsense :)

Speaking of which, I'd offer Morris and our 1st this year. I might even do Morris and the Clippers pick.

I'm not 100% sure we'd resign him, but RFA is going to be brutal this year and he might not get an offer over $15M. For that kind of $ I think he's an asset. Maybe he takes a discount to compete since his entire career has been a series of losing seasons.

Yeah, Brad totally hates athletic wing/forwards that can pass and hit threes...

Gordon can guard five positions and he's improving on offense. If you can get him for Marcus Smart and a future pick of some kind and sign him to any kind of reasonable contract it could be very good. Aaron Gordon is a lineup of death type of two way player that i love.

His price tag is likely too high for the role we see him in (the Semi Ojeleye role). He’s going to be a free agent and next year, once GH gets healthy, there’s only so much SF/PF PT to go around.

As an aside, I think AG will command more money than Marcus Smart in the offseason.

Cavs should though .....dump,about 6 bad contracts and Nets Pick .   So when Flopper leaves , they have a you g stud to build around.
