Don’t want him. Don’t really care where he goes.

Good Greg Kite callout. I’m going with Rick Robey, tho.
I think Eric Fernsten is the way to go.  He's more used to a bench role.  The other guys might get ideas that they deserve to be starters.  ;)

Onl;y possible reason to pick him up is for Baynes insurance. And maybe some solid vet leadership for playoffs. I mean, we're talking about the #15 roster spot.

Acie Earl and Eric Montross are also available. Should we sign them too?

Forget Bogut, he was cooked last year. Now he's just rotten meat.

If he's not good enough for the Lakers then he's not good enough for this team.

Did he even get on the court for The Lakers?

Let's go get him. We wouldn't even have to use the DPE on him if we waive someone.

If we waived a 2-way contract, I think that would create room.

Don't really agree with this. A struggling team like the Lakers have little use for a veteran big man that is coming to the end of his career.

If healthy, I bet he could give the Celtics 10-15 minutes per game.

That's not how 2-way contracts work.

We'd have to waive a guy on a real contract

I think that his chances of becoming a Celtic are even less than his 12% career 3P%.

Yeah that's not really the case. They never give him minutes because behind Lopez, Kuzma, Nance Jr and Randle there aren't many minutes to go around. The youth movement in LA is why he doesn't get minutes. His rebounding and high post playmaking is still really good, as is his rim protection.

I think that his chances of becoming a Celtic are even less than his 12% career 3P%.
Lol, is this supposed to be some critique of a defensive rebounding big man? That he can't shoot 3's?
