No James Harden last night. Houston beats the tar out of Orlando. Green had 27 points in 28 minutes off the bench.

Glad to see him doing well in Houston. I'd love to see them take out the Warriors and Green have a moment in the Finals. That would be fun.
Yes, it would!
Gerald, like for example Beasley, really came out well in the end, after what looks like a too demanding beginning of their NBA careers.
High picks that disappointed, and after lowering our expectations they became "fringe" guys that delight.

Green, like Beasley, is still ridiculously inconsistent though.  Neither can stick with any team for long.
Yet as sixth or seventh men they fit the bill as scorers. Problem is if the teams or the players themselves think their roles are different

When you look at some of the players signed to NBA contracts and the money given to them,
Its hard to argue there is not a place for Beasley or Green.

Smart, Rozier, Brown are ridiculously inconsistent.
And please, lets not discuss the players on the Celtics Bench..

Now tell me there wasn't room for this on the Celtics Bench for a million dollar contract....heh

They are 2-3 in his stretch with the Rockets. In one of those wins they barely beat a depleted Lakers team (bottom 5 team in the NBA) in double overtime. They are giving up 117 points per game in that stretch.

I know there are other reasons for this. The Rockets are struggling lately and their players keep getting injured (too many minutes?), but its not like Green has drastically helped their team success.

That's kinda' always been the knock on him. CBS used him as a spark plug last year because he knew that Green could help in spurts, but not in consistent minutes.
