That is every game.

I just do not understand how people get so worked up all the time.

We have a great coach, a resilient team, and an 82 game schedule.

Settle down.

It's not about losing; it's about how they were losing. There was simply no energy in the first half. All of us were absolutely justified in being upset over that first half showing.

Now they made up for it in the second half, but it was their fault in the beginning that it came to that.

Still, have a little faith in your guys, seriously.

Does no good to sit and act like the world is over.

Even if we had fallen short and lost this game, this team has proven to have pride.

I am totally fine with people focusing on the 1 and a half minutes of absolute virtuoso performance by Smart.

I prefer to focus on the 46 minutes of him being beaten around like David Caradine #checkouthowhedied

lol well, I hope you know Brad obvioiusly disagrees with you.

But I mean, if you think you know better.
Let's see how much money he gets offered at the end of the year. My guess is the Celts won't outbid themselves.

This is such a putrid effort from the Celtics tonight.

That said, anyone questioning the Rockets needs to check themselves. This team is legit.

Reverse jinx FTW

In my ten years on this blog I have seen a lot of game threads like this. You just can never count this team out.

you are right nick.

but you well know the criticism was deserved. we keep doing this game in and out if NOT blowing big leads like we came back from this game and OKC and GS, charlotte etc, etc.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

But seriously...that was that craziest game I have seen in a long time.

I'll eat my crow and shut up.

Except that's not even close to true. He played well the entire second half. His defense on Harden in the second half is one of the primary reasons we won and got Harden frustrated, even to the point of him taking desperation threes a couple of steps in front of the halfcourt line.

He literally had 13 pts on 6-14 shooting with 6 rebs, 5 asts, 2 stls, 3 blcks and made the two winning plays to win us the game, yet you're still going to complain about him??

Could anyone who wants to hate on Smart please remember games like this.  It's gotten to the point that it is expected that Marcus will do something to help the team at the end of games.  He is one of the team's most valuable players.  Don't trade him Danny.

Smart broke Harden down to tears with that D...amazing!

Hell yeah. Screw complaining tonight. Games like that are why I love sports.

Same holds true for the players.  They live for the emotional rush.  Tonight it was stealing victory from the jaws of defeat.

What a player like Smart does is take out your best player. If you take out the best player, it's up to the rest to win. He's the Rodman, the Draymon, and the Bruce Bowen of the Celtics. You lose him, you lose your edge to win.

He was in Harden's head quite a bit.  Larkin helped in that regard too.
Yup

I am not saying they should pay him 20 a year, just that he is a big reason for a majority of the wins we have had since he has arrived.

He helps a team win more than the Wiggins and players like him.

I take BACK trading Smart and Morris for Vucevic!!!:-)))

I would trade Morris to just about anyone however.

Smitty77

You wouldn't be saying that if he was healthy. Morris was also instrumental in the win tonight. He'll be a major factor for us once he finally gets healthy.
