It's more likely were all being punished for your hatred of Kyrie.

Life is usually unfair like that.

Very possible.  So much for the separation between Church and Sport.

Open Jump shot after Open Jump shot - Run the offense, move the ball, move the players, get cuts to the basket, drive it to the basket. When players have tired legs, their jump shot goes first. Shooting 3's and long 2-pointers is not the way to deal with an offensive slump.

And, yes, Leprauchan, you and I are in complete agreement about Coach Stevens. I love the guy and we are lucky to have him. But he has to improve his control of the players. Sometimes, you gotta make them play the right way.

As far as KC Jones as an example of a soft coach, are you kidding me ?? KC had to get DJ's head in the right place his first year in Boston. DJ tried him, but KC don't back down to nobody. He went after Fitch when he was treated disrespectfully. Those 80's Celtics knew who KC Jones was and they respected the guy.

Tyron Luie won a fluke title with Lebron Ego running the team.

Heavy game schedule , fatigue , injuries, no practice time.
Hopefully things will changes soon as we will have a lighter schedule later on.

Can the C's really make it back to the ECF with this bench?

Maybe, Maybe not.

We traded away some depth to make room for Hayward and to acquire Irving. We all knew this at the time. Then Hayward's season ends in the first game. Now, Morris is apparently out long-term. Celts have played more games than anyone in the league. We are thin to start with and then get beat up by crazy injuries and a brutal schedule. What did you expect ?

I'm not angry at the young bench guys. I am obviously angry at Irving for abandoning Stevens' offense for large portions of games. I get angry at Stevens for playing too much midget-ball.

However, if Danny will add more interior defense and rebounding and if Stevens can hold a few guys more accountable and IF Hayward comes back anywhere near his former ability, we are looking at a long run of title contention. Be Patient - we are at the beginning.

hold accountable? he looks scared of players. not how u coach. if i am DA i am chewing bradd ass out after this. he would have no ass left once i was done with him. hes been garbage last 8 games,

Yep - I have mentioned several times that he is afraid of the players.
All his listening and composure and 'players coach' stuff is wonderful - but there are times you gotta bench people and chew ass when players don't follow your directions. Somebody needs to pull him aside and have a long talk with him about this. Did a soft coach ever win a title ?

so we agree on this? holy cow. i was wondering if i was the only one who sees this. players wont respect you if that is all he ever does. very disappointed in brad. hope he grows some balls soon.
It's amazing how players missing shot after shot make someone a bad coach all of a sudden.

THE POINT------------------------------------>

YOUR HEAD-------------------------------------------->

But you don't really have a point, except comparing Brad to this hypothetical perfect coach that exists only in your mind.

Crazy overreactions again.  We'll be in the ECF.  It's a longg season.  And fyi, Beasley has been feasting on teams lately, not just the tired and unmotivated Celts.
If Semi, Larkin, and/or Yabusele need to be in the rotation, I don't see us getting past Toronto or even Washington. Unfortunately.

I feel the same, Koz.

I somewhat agree ... although Larkin and Semi are ok in small stretches.  But, keep in mind Morris will return and we will also had a player (Lou Williams please) with the injured player exception.  And, there's still a slight chance that Hayward returns.

KC was known as a soft coach.  Bird ran that team the same way Lebron ran the Cavs with Blatt and Lue.  Bird overrided his play calls pretty often.
