Beautiful 4th quarter by The Celtics!
They picked up the defense and the offense followed.

Major props to our team for this 4th quarter.  We must be exhausted.

And props to Rozier who put in some big baskets this quarter.  But one good quarter every 5-6 quarters ain't good enough.  Need more consistency from the 7th guy off the bench.

Brown really needs to work on his ballhandling.  gets his dribble picked off too easily in traffic

And who sparked that run? Marcus Smart.

Very stupid shot by Kyrie w/ the fresh clock.  Tatum bailed him out.

Yep, and the shot before that he took wasn't great either.
In Kyrie's defense he's out there with Smart and Brown - neither of whom can make a shot - so he probably (and correctly) feels like it's up to him to score.

Shameless brag:

This was prior to tip off the Nuggets game.  Jaylen went for 26, 5, 2.

Easy game. Jaylen is going off for 20+ tonight. Looking forward to celebrating this win with yall.

And this was prior to tonight's game:

Very winnable game.  Looking for Tatum to have a good one -- he's been quiet lately.

Tatum went for 19, 10, 2, 2.

I am on fire this week! TPs for tarheels.

There was no urgency to score. They have a comfortable lead. If it wasn't rebounded by Tatum, it could lead to an easy points to Memphis.

Celtics are 23rd in pace this season. Down from 12th and 3rd the two seasons prior. Curious why that is.

Last year's emphasis was on a run and gun style with less concern on the defensive side of the ball.  I think guy's are staying home more on that end this year.  Also, we have much better half-court shot creators in Kyrie, Tatum, etc. and more size down low.  I think Kyrie is better in the half court in general, though I don't have stats to back that up.

That was a solid win on the 2nd night of a back to back and the team had to fly all the way to Memphis. Good win! On to Indiana!

Brand new team means brand new schemes. This Celtic team can now score better on half court, in contrast to last year's team where they had to outrun their opponents for easy buckets.
