I want the Celts to draft this guy

When was the last time you seen a center move like Ayton?  His footwork, athleticism, overall skills

Doesn't even look like is trying very hard and could dial it up another notch.  Shooting stroke short, compact, functional.

Basketball gods, one more gift for the Green team.  Thanks

He is an absolute beast. I agree, basketball looks effortless to ayton.

If we can't get him, Bagley or Jaren jackson would still be very good

Exactly

I say Ayton or Sexton would fill a need and are top talents as well

Yeah, if we get the 2nd pick and select Deandre Ayton, I will never ask the basketball gods for anything ever again.

Arizona has been getting torched defensively inside.  I'd like to see a little more at that end before I proclaim him the final piece.  Youtube highlights don't help much there.

How does Sexton fit a need?  Bench scorer?

Would rather have the best player coming out in this draft, Luka Doncic.

Last year - Justin Patton.

And that's what worries me, not to mention that his 1.3 bpg is kind of alarming given his physical profile, imo.

Either way, it's too early for this stuff, lol.

I like Ayton, but you saying the above is concerning considering you said the EXACT same things about Mickey.

As long as we can get one of doncic, porter, ayton, and maybe jackson jr, we are good. After watching banba, he is too much of a project. He gets the ball stolen and can't dribble sometimes. Ayton would be great

Patton didn’t move like Ayton and Ayton is far more skilled and athletic. I wouldn’t think to compare these guys.

Patton went to a non power school and was not highly touted in HS, and he got drafted out of the lottery last year. Ayton has been on the radar for years and might go #1 over a “generational” player in Marvin Bagley.

That said, I’d certainly like to see more before I crown him.

I think we should consider prospects at the 24-30 range

Beat me to it. My question is who we trade in addition to the 27th pick to get into the top-5.

I think next year's draft is one the Celtics don't get to participate too much in.

ESPN has the Celtics getting the 2, 9, and 18th picks in 2019 using the Kings, Grizzlies, and Clippers picks. Very exciting.
