To Hawks: Yabu, Nader and  2nd round pick
To Celtics: Dedmon

Deadmon is better equipped to handle the likes of Drummond, Whiteside, Aldridge, Jordan etc

We have lost to teams thus far with long players like this (include Giannis)

Deadmon is having a nice year for the lowly Hawks who are going nowhere

If we can talk Dedmon into declining his player option, we can use the DPE to trade for him, correct?  Would we have his Bird Rights???

Who cares if he is injured right now.  Wait until January and pull the trigger.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.

Out for like a month.

I will wait, and then trade for him. Dude is shooting three's now, and he's still active around the boards and on the defensive end. The perfect big for Brad's system.

When he was one of the last remaining FAs if there was mutual interest we would have signed him then.

Why bother? He isn't a notable upgrade on Baynes and Brad has already determined the center position is a role on this team only worthy of about 15 minutes a game.

Spurs only too team where we seem to have this problem. And frankly I think Al can defend him better in the future. Also Baynes is capable of defending Aldridge.

Drummond dominated us last time too, though.

Tomorrow's Pistons' game will tell us more.

If he waived his player option and we traded say our late first rounder and the DPE for him, would we have Bird Rights to re-sign him???????

I don't believe that players signed with the DPE are eligible for extensions.
