It's very simple. We don't rebound. We lose.

I figured we'd lose either tonight or against Detroit next game.  Can't win em all.

I'm still mad about the foul discrepancy though.  That was a poorly officiated game, even by NBA standards.

Yeah I wondered why the spurs had such a good home record, then after tonight's refereeing, I wonder no more.

And this is exactly what I'm talking about. There's not a better coach in the league at drawing up ATOs than Brad, yet he continuously refuses to call timeouts in those late game situations and draw those up, even with two timeouts left! Rather, he just lets them iso, and you end up with those two bad stepback threes by Kyrie.

That didn't lose us the game in itself. Horford being a no-show, a lopsided whistle, and poor overall offense elsewhere lost us the game. But that irks me to death. He's lost numerous games for us over the years by making that call, and it's absolutely the wrong call almost every single time given his prowess in conjuring up effective ATO plays.

Why not let Tatum be the man sometimes?

He just keeps making big shots but cbs doesnt let him finish the game

Tatum hits the big three... Go back to him cbs/kyrie
He will be - sooner rather than later - but no need for him to do that just yet.

Once again, practice proves that when Brad's preconceived gameplan falls apart, he really has no idea how to actually coach during the game. It's extremely frustrating to watch.

Horford just doesnt matchup well against LA. Aldrige is bigger , stronger and has much longer wingspan.

Aldridge made Horford look like a chump all night long, and then Al didn't do jack squat on offense.

Ginobili hits two (essentially halfcourt) heaves.

Celtics got killed on the glass like Game 7 of the 2010 Finals (complete with Pau Gasol still sticking it to us).

Great work.

Nice melt. We're 22-5.

Relax.

There's always someone who has to say something like this. Like, it's wrong for me to be upset? I don't care if they'd been 26-0 coming into this game; they had a really good chance to beat a very good team on the road, and they screwed it up.

But I guess I can't be upset about a loss unless it's an elimination game in the playoffs, according to some people.

Aldridge played like a beast. He looks even better than when he was in Portland. He outright dominated Horford tonight

the rebounding really hurt us tonight, the 2nd chance shots were killing us.  I know Al was trying to play good D tonight on DA, but we just couldn't keep SA off the glass.

Tatum and Brown looked good, Kyrie looked great, but we just didn't get it done underneath tonight.
