There's a chance Chandler, Monroe and/or Len are bought out or traded by the Suns in the coming months.

Okafor is going to be an option as well.

Ainge is understandably in no rush to use the DPE and/or Vet Min. exception(s) yet, and he'll wait a bit as by January-February, lots of teams begin to pick a direction, and as a result, you could see a lot of good players bought out or put on the trading block, and Danny will look to strike then.  8)

Well, lets remember something about Chandler's numbers....6 rebounds came in one possession trying to tip in a basket.

Yeah and didn’t even tip it in. Horford did.

How about just blocking out once in a while?
They were doing that at the beginning of the season.

When we're giving this many minutes to mediocre rebounders or rookies, the rebounding is going to take a hit.

A lineup with a lot of theis and baynes is going to be better from a rebounding standpoint than a lineup with a lot of morris.

Monroe would be the perfect fit. The guy is like a tree in the paint.

Preference in order
Monroe
Favors
Chandler
Bogut
Okafor
Mirotic

I like Monroe as well.

I really only watch him when he plays the Celtics but he has had some good games against us.

He was just going for the triple-double and had the points in the bag.

I don't know if Chandler always looks this good but he sure looked [dang] good against us.

Do you think the rebounding getting worse has anything to do with Baynes getting less minutes and Morris more?

Baynes is playing about 3 fewer minutes per game with Morris in the lineup than when Morris is out.  It’s uniikey these 3 minutes are causing an appreciable difference in rebounding numbers.

Yeah and didn’t even tip it in. Horford did.

Still, it was painful to watch.  Horford was pretty much out of the picture and was just jumping and futilely swiping.

Refreshing to see a guy like Baynes, who can and does put his body into anybody and bang around.

Obviously Horford is a much better player than Baynes, Chandler, Monroe, etc. but physically, he's almost a boy among men (as are Morris and Theis).

It'd be nice to have another big banger type (backup Center) so we can start Baynes over Morris and not worry so much about teams with 2 physically imposing bigs like Chandler/Monroe.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I think that will be our 15th player. It will not be till buyouts and we should have the most money and should have the best record to intice. I am all in on Chandler. He has a ring and can be a beast when motivated.

I can't say that I see the need. Boston does have a need to get the young guys on the floor so that they can contribute in the playoffs. Brad is already rotating ten guys, and health is good. If (and when) an additional big is needed, Yabusele can get those minutes; he's got intriguing upside and needs reps in real games.
