Both would have a nice chance to win imo

Would be cool.

The year we had pierce and Allen in the 3 pt contest and  think rondo was in the skills challenge, that was great

I don’t think Jaylen Brown is a dunk contest athlete.

Yeah, I'd be much happier with an in-game contested dunk from Jaylen...

Agree on Brown.  Love his in game dunking aggressiveness but he doesn't soar like a dunk contest guy.

Agree with all the above. He's more of a power dunking kinda guy than the usual high soaring guys.

If JT can maintain his hot shooting and increase his volume he could definitely get in
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)

I don’t think Jaylen Brown is a dunk contest athlete.

I think this is why he avoided it last year.

I would wager many here in this thread cannot nor could dunk.   And by dunking I mean clean dunks, not the jump up roll it in and grab the rim.

Because there is a big difference between what you can do with a run with no one in front of you and in a game.   I would wager Brown can get even more in a dunk contest setting because that is true of almost anyone who can dunk.

The 3-point contest is fine (don't care really) - at least it involves practicing a skill that's useful in games.  But as for Brown in the dunk contest, I hope not.  Wasted energy, wasted practice time, and injury risk.  No thanks.
