Morris isn’t even our sixth man, Smart is. He might be our seventh man but when Hayward comes back he will move down another notch. I think the no comment is a non issue.

Anticipating additions via the DPE and next season's MLE, along with the return of Hayward, and he's probably out of the rotation altogether.

Nothing to see here.  Another example of an competitor with personal pride - "what would you expect him to say?" scenario.  It's not like he was blatantly and shamelessly disrespectful to a reporter.  And Boston fans have historically not even cared about that... so why this?

edit: oh snap, just got a 6th star.

he’s got tunnel vision.
Just what we’ve been looking for in a go to scorer for the second unit.

Problem solved.

Morris shouldn't be starting because he's not good or effective enough to be starting.

He might not get that, but hopefully brad is beginning to come round.

Dude just isn't a starting power forward on a good team.

Neither was Crowder but he played there at times.

Do you think Tatum is the PF of a good team?

From what I've seen Marcus Morris underplays everything during interviews.  He will discuss what happened during games but that's about it.  I watched a video of him after a game winning shot last season and there was barely any emotion.  He doesn't enjoy talking about his own role/contributions.  The "next question" answer is nothing out of the usual.

Tatum is far more equipped and talented to play a combo forward role than both the aforementioned guys.

Marcus Morris is useful to this team as an offensive spark plug off the bench and that is just about all.

Having Al horford and Marcus Morris starting together as a 4-5 combo has not been a recipe for success so far.

well hes going to be next year when Hayward comes back. We will probably trot out a lineup of Kyrie/brown/hayward/tatum/horford

Morris is a good player, but he just makes more sense on the bench with his scoring ability. Al seems to play MUCH MUCH better when baynes is starting next to him and he can just roam around the perimeter

Looking at the games it looks like his teammates really do like him. Especially Morris and Tatum seem to be close.

I haven’t heard about that, but people have mentioned that he defends Lebron well.

I've thought he's defended pretty well, by my eye test. He isn't as quick as Brown or Tatum, but he does have a lot of strength and savyness.

Stats like him. 100 defensive rating. Positive DPM.

He gives us another switchy defender, but one who has a little more muscle on the inside.
