a Belgian electrical chain was offering to reimburse people who bought a TV for the World Cup — if the team score more than 15.

I wish i knew it earlier!!!
Belgium has already scored 12 !
well they are going to lose today and they won't score 3, so probably better to not rely on that.
If I would not be a Croat, I'd say Brazil: Belgium is the finals before the finals. Not dismissing the France and Uruguay, but so far they showed the most potent football.

I don't understand Tolisso out on the left wing. Play Lemar. Lemar would be fantastic in this French team in this formation.

I don't know how you leave out Lemar ever. He is just so skillful and creates wonderful interplay between midfield and attack. Capable of playing inside as a roaming playmaker or out wide. Works well with everyone.

What kind of finishing is that from Sterling?

What's the over/under on how many years before Harry Maguire move to either Manchester United or Manchester City?

God, he's so good. What a get by Leicester City.

Also, LOL, Raheem Sterling.

8 of England's 10 goals in this year's World Cup have come from set pieces.

Incredible number. 80% of their goals.

What a goal. Great cross from Lingard. Perfectly placed.

Football might be, indeed, coming home.

If you are not a particularly supportive of Russia, Croatia is accepting all supporters with open arms.
With Q-finals still in play there is still a lot of time to hop on our train. :)

Yep, I'll be cheering on Croatia today. I am hoping they beat England too and make the Final.

I'm going for England simply because they have strong Irish ties and the Celtics are Irish and reminds me of the C's.
