It seems that Morris doesn't like the idea of 6th man or anchoring 2nd team.Boston has such a rich tradition of 6th men that were stars in that role.Celtics fans know the value of the 6th man on a winning team.A 6th man can be more valuable than a starter and the Celts pioneered it with Red .
Somehow i think Marcus doesn't see it yet and feels it is like a demotion'
Being the primary scorer on 2nd unit is critical with all the rookies and new players.
.
You would think he would relish the opportunity to get more touches and use his offensive game to its fullest. In todays NBA the 2nd unit can win you games or surrender hard fought leads in minutes
"Next question" is a very telling response by Marcus Morris

"Next Question" could mean anything.  Don't read too much into it.

From what I've seen Marcus Morris underplays everything during interviews.  He will discuss what happened during games but that's about it.  I watched a video of him after a game winning shot last season and there was barely any emotion.  He doesn't enjoy talking about his own role/contributions.  The "next question" answer is nothing out of the usual.
