That won't be happening this time.

That game was a parody of nba basketball and I was pretty disgusted by it to be honest.

It was a fluke. After 50 the only thing they were trying to do was get Booker the shots and didn't care about the game. Even we didn't play good defense against him at that point either. I would be shocked if he can get 30 this time with more length defending him.

Avery actually didn't play that game.  Bit of a Mandela Effect going on there.  I remember when they were discussing All-Defense teams after last season people where holding the Booker game against Avery even though he wasn't on the court.

that's how i remembered it, it was a blow out until the 4th iirc. They weren't trying to win but pad his stats...

not remotely the same compare to Kobe, Kobe was down 20 and came back and won the game when he scored 81

Booker made some incredible shots.
My GF still talks about it, and she is not a basketball fan.
