This is what happens when you put “leadership” like cousins and rondo in the locker room of a prospect

not saying he's not responsible. you don't think veterans behaviors rub off on a  younger teammate?

Did you actually watch the video you shared where Cousins was the one trying to calm down Davis to keep him from getting ejected?  I like bashing Cousins as much as the next guy, but this one is 100% on Davis.

If I had to guess, I think that Davis was especially angry because both plays were againstanother young star in KAT, and the game was in Davis' "house".  He doesn't seem like a crazy character though. Doubt this is all that meaningful.

I don't bet Anthony Davis would hit that ref. He'd be suspended 10+ games for that. Which would cost the Pelicans...A LOT.

Just the "fake-tough" act and let his teammates intervene typa thing. But wow, DeMarcus Cousins playing the peacemaker. Now that's something new to see!

What the heck was wrong with Davis? He looked like a lunatic running around carrying on like that. There’s more going on there, whatever it is.

I agree.   But you have to realize in this day of safe spaces that most people can't tell the difference between an upset guy complaining to the ref and a guy trying to give a guy a beatdown.

It wonder if the OP watched the clip posted. Here on CB once there's a narrative it never changes. DMC is having an MVP level year, and if the Pelicans get over 45 wins, and he keeps these numbers, he's legitimately in the conversation.

However, because it makes CBers happy, DeMarcus Cousin is the big bad guy and responsible for Anthony Davis looking like a lunatic. DeMarcus was the most level headed on the floor in that 2:40 seconds.

lol, yeah.

He's 24 years old and in his 6th NBA season. He's no prospect.

Although he did look a little childish overreacting the way he did. The second call was bad but his reaction was downright silly.
