I've noticed so far that we have problems against teams that have big men, not even great big men. Forget the Cavs game. Let's just look at the HEAT, Bucks and Pistons. We struggle against length and I think the reason is that Stevens continues to look at Horford's advantage on the offensive end is a bigger advantage than the defensive liability of not having a big man. Start Baynes against big men and start Morris against smaller teams.

I don't think there is much out there but Yabu has given us nothing. If he's not going to play, send him to the G-L and let him get some playing time.

I'm sure Ainge is waiting for a buyout. If Deandre Jordan is bought out, he would be an excellent fit.

I agree that we need another big.  If Horford gets another (longer term) injury, we'd be hosed

No, wait for Lebron to get bought out instead.
I'm bitter.

Celtics are sending Yabu to the G-L

They can hire me anytime. I work on retainer and can be available immediately. Haha

Seriously, good move. We still don't know what his nitch is or what he needs to work on. We were talking comparisons to Draymond but that's obviously premature. BBD maybe if more minutes are earned.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
This will be addressed. Tyson Chandler after being bought out will be someone's big. Hopefully not Cleveland. Bogut will be bought out too. We will have options. We have money and a spot.

The talk today is of Marc Gasol possibly being available. I don't know how he fits, or whether they can afford him. He's a high scoring defensive center who doesn't rebound much. He's certainly an upgrade over Baynes, but much more expensive.

Jordan also has a big contract, and you don't know how the Celtics see a fit in the big defensive centers who are expensive.

My guess is they will pass on all these guys. They are basically in love with wings who can float around the 3-4-5 and shoot outside.

While we may not know what Yabusele's nitch is or what he needs to work on, I am sure Stevens and the coaching staff do.

drummond ate us alive 26 pts 22 rebounds.  but why did tobias harris look like an all-star out there?

I'm concerned with our defense over the past 4 games.

we would love gasol but there's no way to make the money work.

he currently makes 22m dollars and he has a 10m dollar trade kicker.

So if we get anybody it would have to be for that 8m dollar hayward injury exception.

He could score as a rookie and he is big.   Stevens has a knack for getting guys to play D.   This makes the most sense to me, but isn't he the fragile Embiid's backup?  That means that it maybe won't happen.

Greg Monroe? Jahlil Okafor? Tyson Chandler? Nerlens Noel?

Many guys who will get bought out in the coming months or traded for cheap biscuits.

Hope Ainge CUTS Nader, and then with two open spots, signs and/or trades for 2 players using the DPE and the Vet. Min. exception.
