And again I'm not saying Horford won't make it, I just don't believe he is a guarantee or an automatic because statistically he won't measure up to other players and that matters.

well a month later and voting is officially open, and I think it looks far more likely that Irving will be the only all star from the Celtics as Horford is down to 14/8/5.5 (and no one else has really elevated into the argument as 2nd best player on the team), which likely isn't going to cut it especially with the Raptors and Cavs in a virtual dead heat with Boston record wise.
