At the time, Fultz seemed like the safer pick.

Now, it has to be Smith, right?

I still take Fultz. DSJ is an amazing player.

EDIT:

Hard to type on Samsung Galaxy S8. Very small touchpad.

If you're fully convinced Fultz isn't the same mid range assassin, who had absolutely no difficulty, or resistance driving into the lane, and doing hesi pull ups in defender's eyes. Or the same prospect, that drives scouts to drool and ooze at his two way potentiality.

The 76ers really don't even a dominant PG, they just need someone who can come off ball screens, and be okay with deferring. I suspect, the 76ers offense will rely a lot on Simmons, as the main ball handler about 60-70% of the time, with Embiid scoring down low, Covington or Fultz can just make smart back door cuts for easy points.

Fultz seems like he has a light switch, but it seems turned off most of the time, than on, but his college numbers are impressive. DSJ seems a lot flashier. I have no doubt that DSJ, will be very acrobatic, and put up great numbers as a main scorer. But I don't think he's the type of player, who can lead your team. DSJ seems like he needs a lot of time to develop and mature. Fortunately, Carlise, and Dirk will be the perfect mentors for his transition.

Basically... My issues with DSJ, is the same issues, I have had with young Kyrie.

Can he lead a team? Is he a playoff caliber starting point guard in the future? I love Kyrie, but he is kind of unpredictable, and the same goes for DSJ, especially since he has a fiery attitude like Smart.

You can't give up on a player like this after one year...

Way to early to decide anything such as this. Too few games and Fultz is njured. Give it 2 to 3 year’s.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Right now, Smith. More athletic, better shooter, better ball-handler, and unlike Fultz, he's not passive.

Way to early, but if he are deciding on what we've seen so far (including summer league and preseason) in order from best to worst:

Dennis Smith Jr
Donovan Mitchell
Dearron Fox
Lonzo Ball
Markell Fultz
