I admit, this was a great trade for us. I haven’t seen Marcus play a lot before green, but I always thought he was average at best. Up and down.

The fit on this team is perfect. He does everything we were bad at last year.

Physical, rebounding, and just gets buckets. I didn’t know he could score like he can. From anywhere, really. Heckuva move to nab this guy.

I agree he is a net positive for us. I worry he shoots too much and kills ball movement at times. But they go in and if it’s with the second unit you’ll take whatever offense you can.

He hasn't used one his trademark main asset as of yet ........

But I suspect tonight that very asset might come into play .For the first time.  😃

His temper junk yard dog stuff ......Draymond Green is likely to bring out the best of BOTH

Marcus 's.  .

getting an Green ejection for either .....advantage Celtics.

When the Celtics played the Wizards in last year's playoffs, I thought the Celtics could use a player like Markieff Morris on their team. Unfortunately, I didn't think the Wizards would trade Morris to a rival. A few months later, Danny makes a blockbuster trade with their rival Cleveland, and he trades for the twin brother of the guy that I originally wanted.

I like Jae Crowder, but Marcus Morris is more talented, and just as tough.

We lost a great Celtic in AB, but added depth in a position of greater need, given the Hayward injury.  Very pleased with his play, especially his ability to hit big shots for the 2nd unit.

He kinda sorta plays a better version of the role Gerald Green had last year - come in off the bench and get a few quick buckets that we don't have to work too hard for.

The ability to score one-on-one off the bench is a nice asset for an offensively challenged team, as long as we don't rely on it too much. And his defense is better than Gerald's though that isn't saying much.
