Jayson Tatum told @tvabby his ankle is "good" after the win. Ha. #Celtics

Pleased to hear that at least.

Oh and incredibly gutsy win!  ;D

Shane Larkin.

Who knew?

Maybe Brad and Brad only.  It's amazing what he does with castoff ball handlers.  Crawford, Turner, and now Larkin.

I was going to give credit for Ainge on that signing.  Between Larkin and Theis, Ainge did a great job of bargain-shopping in Europe last summer.

An embarrassment of riches. 3rd string PG comes in and settles things down, runs the offense with poise.  This is the type of play you expect when your 3rd stringer is a ring chasing older veteran player who has a random throwback game when it's needed.

And we got it from Shane Larkin. Go figure.

yeah i am out of words to express this game. surreal.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

  • GOT IT!!!
I was score watching this game. I just laughed when I saw the C's came back to take control. Not surprised with anything when comes to a CBS coached team anymore.

Celtics have held opponents to less than 100 points in 10 out of their last 11 games.

I didn't look back through all the pages but Kyrie texted the team when he went home at HALFTIME to congratulate them on the win. He knew they would pull it out! FIGHT! RUMBLE YOUNG KIDS RUMBLE!!!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Larkin was player of the game! Next man up indeed!

If we ever have to go to Nader again, we will be in trouble.

i have confidence in larkin................nader? LOL
I didn't like Nader last year in Maine either.. He was a black hole on offense and tried to do too much when I saw him play. No surprise that he's the same so far in boston
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Yabu with best performance of his career:   8 Minutes 0 points, 3 boards, 3 fouls, +9.

He didn't hurt us in the second half.  I won't say he played well, but he didn't play poorly.

Still generally has no idea what he's doing, but time is on his side and I think he's playing for the right coach.

He still lack basketball experience. He started playing when he was 16. Gotta be patient with the kid.

Agree.

He has a good feel for moving the ball on offense. Some big guys don't know how to get the ball moving from side to side when they catch it on the pick-and-roll/pop. He did that well, which is one of smaller, but important, factors in helping our offense get going.

I loved it when he made the extra pass to get Theis a wide open corner three.  A great decision.

That was a little play, but shows that he gets what CBS wants from him on offense.

It's plays like that that make me wonder if he can be a bit like Al on offense.

In his post-game interview, CBS had high praise for that play in particular.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5yMhkNIy54

At about the 3:30 mark he calls it "THE right play," which is a big compliment from CBS. He also takes the blame for non-foul/foul in the first half by Yabusele.
