Last night Steph Curry finished with 27 points on 17 shots, Kevin Durant had 28 points on just 14 shots, and Klay Thompson had 29 points on 19 shots. For the Pistons, Andre Drummond had only 8 points and shot 4 for 17 (!) from the floor.

And what happened? The Pistons win, move to 5-2 on the season and the Warriors fall to 4-3. Avery Bradley killed them with 23 points (5/7 from 3). Man, I wish I had watched that game.

The NBA is crazy this season. At least so far. It sucks that we lost Hayward.

It's early, but Avery appears to have had quite an impact on Detroit. It will be very interesting to see how the league values him by the end of the year.

The Warriors had 25 turnovers.

They are bottom five in turnovers per game and opponent of turnovers per game. They're giving up a million points a game.

They're struggling to care right now. At least on defense. Scoring will always come easy.

SVG was glowingly admitting that Bradley was a huge reason for players taking more accountability, and putting forth more effort on the defensive end. I remember reading that Reggie Jackson felt that the effort Bradley put on D, inspired him to focus on trying to negate passing lanes, and use his quickness to block off drives.

I watched the game and Draymond Green was absolutely horrible on offense. Because he always is looking to pass Detroit just gave him room to go into the midrange area and then go for a steal or deflection when the inevitable pass came to the wing. Detroit's defense has much improved with Bradley and Johnson (now starting). Golden State had troubles to get their shooters open looks, but Durant, Curry and Thompson had a great shooting night, credit to the Pistons that that wasn't enough.

On the Pistons side I thought Drummond was really poopy. His handle and decisions (both on offense and defense) are just terrible. Green should have punished him with his weak rotations, but didn't do anything on drives or shooting.

It was an entertaining game which the Warriors seemed to convert into an easy victory in the 3rd, but their sloppy passing gave the Pistons a chance to come back and with some hustle plays (most notably Tolliver) they managed to take over.

Also worth mentioning that without the scoring by Jackson the game would've been over at half time. He's really showing signs of his former self. With Smith as a back-up who can speed up the offense when necessary the Pistons might have solved their guard problems just by staying patient.

You can be the most talented team, but when you turn the ball over 25 times, you're putting yourself in a position to lose.

All their games, they have had 16 or more TO's. They're going to have to clean up their stuff as far as taking care of the ball, once they do, it's Suplex City again for them, but the league need to take advantage of this for as long as they can.

it has been a very crazy season so far. I did not expect a slow start from GSW, neither would I expect Cavs to be 10% into the season and have a losing record

Most rookies are playing well so far.

Celtics defense looks solid so far

I'm glad AB is breathing life back into that franchise. I know the CB advance stat gurus aren't fans but you can't deny he's a really good fit with SVG in the early going.

Personally I think he's one of the most underrated players in the NBA.
ok fine

Bradley, along with Leonard, are the two best players in the league to try and stop Golden State.

Now let's hope Detroit beats the Lakers tonight.  The way this NBA season is going, with the unexpected seemingly occurring more often than not, I wouldn't be surprised to see Detroit beat one of the most talented teams ever, and then lose to one of the least experienced teams ever.

Avery Bradley is undefeated at the Oracle over the last 3 seasons!

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Avery was on The Jump talking about the Pistons and they asked a question about the Celtics.

He seems to get it and doesn't have any ill feelings toward the Celtics. A real class act. I'd love to see him back in Boston some day in the future.
