Kyrie is still Top-20 in like a lot of the metrics (deflections, defensive win shares, defensive rating, steals, etc.)

That's pretty incredible. Complements his scoring and insane handles very well.

Kyrie's great defense so far (and hustle) is a big reason he's an MVP candidate right now, despite his other stats which look kind of average (23 PPG, 5 APG, 3 RPG), which I NEVER thought I'd say 3 years ago when I was just begging for us to have at least one guy who could score more than 13 PPG (at the time it was either Sullinger or Bradley to hope) LOL.
