The Nets with a win over the Magic tonight and are now 1-1, a better record than the Celtics.

Celtics and Nets have a better record than Golden State!

I'm just wondering out loud if Kyrie has enough pure point guard in him?

He looked very comfortable as a two guard out there with Larkin.
Iverson-esque

I'm still not impressed by Ben Simmons.

IMO they misuse him.  He's a secondary ball handler.  If they had a real PG running things and him playing off, he can do things.  He absolutely can not dribble the ball and run things like a PG.  Not remotely.  I hate how they do that with guys now.  You can just be a PF and be able to handle.  Worked for Barkley.

I'd like to see them run some post ups for Simmons. Not necessarily for him to score the ball but to be a passer out of the post. To look for cutters. To use his ball-handling and quickness if a double doesn't come.

Spending too much time on the ball 25 feet from the basket.

They gotta get some touches closer to the rim where his lack of a jump-shot is less of a liability.

There has been a growing anti-cupcake sentiment since KD signing with the GSW.  It won't affect his brand though, for those concerned.  It actually may help it -- he can create his own niche as the "edgy" or "philosophical" cupcake.
