This is an ugly game. Its the 3rd game in 4 nights for the Celtics though, what's Phili's excuse?

They're a young, inexperienced team trying to integrate many new pieces.

Same story for the Celts.

It's looking like this will be a rough few months to start the year.

work out the kinks and chemistry this year. be ready next year to make a real run to the finals. this team ON PAPER even without GH is better than last years but we are seeing the issues now.

How you figure that? Only KI and AH, everyone else is unproven. At least last year you had AB, JC etc.

not sure if serious??  BAYNES, morris are both proven and UPGRADES from what we had last year. tatum and brown will be fine. brown is better already than last year. rozier is better than last year already. do the math!

What have Baynes and Morris proven? Baynes was barely in the Spurs' rotation. Never averaged more than 16 minutes a game before coming to Boston. Morris has been a starter on a bad team for most of his career. That's not a proven upgrade on paper.

Kyrie has broken down the defense on multiple plays, no one has hit the shots he has given them.

bingo!

They've been wide open too.

we have drove the hoop all night but we miss layups also

This is where we miss AB and probably Crowder. Semi is our best guy for the role, but he's too inexperienced and shy right now.

Yeah they just aren't making them.  I feel bad for Kyrie because he will get the heat too but he is dropping dimes on some of these plays.

Anyone else think Embiid isn't as quick as last season? isn't moving as well?

He looks much stiffer to me. Heavier.

It's remarkable that a team with playoff aspirations is giving so many shots and rotation minutes to guys who were not only NOT on the team last year, but not even in the LEAGUE last year.

That would be true even if Hayward were healthy, but dang.
