Tatum only started as PF vs Cavs imo bc he mainly had to deal with a shorter Crowder

Moving forward cant see him starting at the pf spot against the likes of Ibaka, Milsap, Griffin etc

But with GH unfortunate injury he now starts at the sf spot that can accelerate his development. Really nice that he and Brown can switch at any time on defense as well

Really liked what I saw yesterday and he pounded the ball maybe twice the whole game(impressive). His passing has already improved

I think they'll likely start most games. I can see them getting rest here and there, especially Tatum considering it's his first NBA campaign.

But both should be locks for 25+ mpg

Whether they start or not really isn't that important.

They're really gonna be thrown into the fire with minutes now.  Which, for development, is a great thing.

Ibaka is a perimeter player and the other 2 guys play in the west (so we only play them twice). What eastern conference power forward scares you enough that you don't want to put Tatum on them?

I agree. Brown needs to shoot the 3 better. Cant miss those open shots

I think that will come. I don't see him taking over 20 shots too often

Aside from Irving and Tatum I don't see anyone that's going to take shots away from him (especially with his performance tonight), he's going to be our 2nd option in terms of taking shots this year while Hayward is out and be pretty good at it (expect around 18 PPG from him this year, he looks very impressive).
