Jimmy Butler planted hard on his foot and fell onto the floor. Grabbed his knee for like 3 minutes and had to be helped up going off the court. Fear for a torn ACL.

Tom Thibs has a good reputation of ruining his players' season/career by running them to the ground in games. Not surprised...
Nene did fall into Butler's right leg on the rebound.  Blaming Thibs is easy but don't think it makes sense for an ACL injury.

And just like that we’re only a game back of Toronto again! Thanks, Milwaukee!
2 games back in the loss column.

Lol

Why LOL?  Toronto can lose 2 more games than us the rest of the season and still get the #1 seed if they hold the tie breaker.

I just thought it was pretty funny to throw cold water on an excited celtics fan after a nice victory and unexpected Toronto loss. Nothing you said is inaccurate. Just pretty funny routine

MRI shows Jimmy Butler has a meniscus injury.  Haven't said how long he'll be out.  Time for Towns and Wiggins to step up if they can.

Horrible news for their playoff run.  But Thibs' reputation precedes him.  Butler was leading the league in mpg.  I was worried during their game vs. LAL right before the break that this was going to happen.

Ben Simmons is the best passer in the NBA at 21 y/o.

Honestly, I think James, Paul, Rondo and Lonzo Ball, who is 20, are all better. But he is a great passer to be sure.

I would add Jokic and Teodosic too.

Embiid and the Sixers are on a post all-star game tear. They are going to be a tough 1st round opponent for somebody.

Yeah, I wasn't basing my opinion on assist averages... just what I see.  You should add Harden in that case.  I believe Simmons has the best version and flexibility to deliver, though.

Jokic is a very good passer; I've fortunately never seen Teodosic play.  I would add Shaquille Harrison as well.

Wonder when agents will openly avoid Thibs teams for their guys. That would be the end of his career as an NBA head coach.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised.  Maybe he has some evidence that # more mpg doesn't lead to injury, but it looks problematic.  And I love people who seem as angry as Thibs.

Man, I think OKC could really give GS fits in the playoffs.

With Butler and Kawhi out, I think OKC gets to that 3 spot. GS better buckle down and get that first seed, because they could be in some real trouble if they have to see OKC in the second round and then Houston in the WCF without homecourt advantage.

Man OKC just lost the game and got creamed those last 4 minutes.

And although I love Westbrook, I can see why people get frustrated with him. When the team needs him the most to weather the storm, all he does is jack up 40 footers or drive alone into a quadruple team  :P

Oh and lose Curry a bunch of times on defense which obviously never goes well.

But in this game, OKC gave up. Couldn't rebound or shoot the last 4 minutes of the 3rd...
