Yikes. Love went back to the locker room holding his hand, and he's currently getting x-rays to check for a broken hand, which he's had before in his career. That'd be a major blow to an already struggling Cavs team.

They just reported it was a dislocation, not a break. I'm not sure what the rehab time on that it, but you'd think that would be better than a break.

lol

It's a non-displaced fracture. I'm sure that's what "Dr. Scott" meant to say. So in layman's terms, he broke his hand.

It's the metacarpal bone of his pinky.  I've played with it broken.  Too early for you guys to start bunching up your jammies yet.  But realize you're on the edge of wishing injury on others so that you can be "right" about CLE

That's a boxer's fracture.  Did he punch s/t?

Yep, this is what McMenamin is reporting. Tough blow for Cleveland.

The X-ray on Kevin Love's left hand revealed a non-displaced fracture in his left hand fifth metacarpal. Love will not return to play tonight. His status will be updated after additional examination and consultation tomorrow in Cleveland, per the Cavs.

So you have to wonder where this takes them regarding the trade deadline now.

EDIT: I'm seeing 6-8 weeks projected recovery time. Ouch!

Kevin Love likely out 6-8 weeks

He'd be back well in time for the playoff then. Its just that the team won't have a chance to gel with IT before the 1st round, assuming the rest of them stay healthy. I'm guessing Crowder takes his minutes in the meantime.

Really important to make the Cavs go through the Raptors before they get Boston

Easy there "C's fan", I'm just stating what happened. But realize that you're on the edge of thinking injury was wished upon another player simply because you've been completely wrong about IT.

I can see this conversation is going nowhere constructive so lets end it before it begins.

Lol this Cavs D is so laughable. It's literally Drummond and a bunch of bench players out there, yet they're up double digits still.

Although I still think DET was stupid to make that awful trade, I am curious to see how Griffin - Drummond duo work on the court.

Who knows, maybe I'll be proven wrong and look like an idiot.  :P

The Cavaliers are having trouble against a Pistons team with Drummond + not much.

They lost Love, sure, but still have Isaiah, Lebron, etc.

And WHOA, Drummond has 18 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists...  :o

Pistons now an a 14-2 run.

Cavs play no defense and can’t even keep up with Detroit who is undermanned

Pistons literally creaming the Cavaliers late and about to put up 130 on them. Horrid defense.

This is WITHOUT Griffin, Harris and Bradley playing for them LOL.

This Cavs team is in deep, deep trouble. They're literally losing to Drummond and bench scrubs right now. Giving up 125+ to this team is insane. Without Love they just don't have the personnel to simply outscore their opponents anymore.

It'll be interesting to see if they panic at the deadline and trade that Brooklyn pick. From all of the articles I've read so far, I can't see Gilbert trading it without some sort of guarantee from Lebron.
