Time to start Kawhi trade proposals?  :)
You're dang right it is

It's almost the same situation as Davis, even if Leonard wanted out he's locked up for the next 3 seasons and the package for a top 5 player in the league still in his prime would be astronomical e.g Tatum, Brown, Salary fillers and possibly all of our remaining picks.

Kawhi has a player option for 2019-2020.

I’d do Tatum & Brown for Kawhi.

And the LAL/SAC pick.

I love Tatum. I am optimistic the pick conveys this year and that would be a great prospect. Brown she’s flashes of being a star.

But Kawhi is a top-3 player when healthy. A foursome of Irving/Hayward/Leonard/Horford may actually be better than GSW’s.... with guys like Baynes, Morris, Smart, Rozier, Theis, MLE, etc. to round out the roster. I honestly think they could run off a few championships.

That said, it’ll never happen.

That would make them think if a request was handed in, but like you said it's never going to happen.

If it was to happen though I actually wouldn't be too ecstatic as that whole team would be free agents and trades, I have a soft spot for drafted franchise guys. Even the Patriots with all their roster changes have Brady, Gronk, Edelman, McCourty and Gostkowski as their drafted franchise guys and it'd be quite sad if Celtics lost that.

And then Pop would turn both Tatum and Brown in Leonard-level players.

Highly doubtful as Kawhi mostly made Kawhi. His measurements of a 7'3 wingspan and the ability to palm a basketball with his enormous hands are unteachable, Leonard's work ethic is second to none. When he was drafted, Kawhi bought a house for him and his mother to live in and his mother took care of cooking cleaning ect. just so Leonard could completely concentrate on basketball, there is a reason he doesn't have social media, doesn't do interviews or very few ads because he only cares about improving as a player. The biggest improvement that Pop made with him would have to be his shooting technique, free throws and perfecting his offensive repertoire.

LOL Pop called a timeout just 14 seconds into the game after Crowder hit a 3.

I truly enjoy watching the Spurs play. They are so well coached and their scouting department does an amazing job of finding good players.

Aldridge really looks like a different player this year. No doubt an all-star.

Averaging 22/9 consistently all season, and already has 12 points so far.

When Kawhi went down last year in the WCF, they really needed this kind of Aldridge instead of the timid and "out of place" one they got last May.

If Aldridge keeps it up and Kawhi comes back healthy late in the season, then the Spurs are just as big threats to the Warriors and Rockets.

This Cavs D is laughable giving up this many points to this depleted Spurs team.

YIKES. Spurs go on a 18-5 run to end the half.

Cavaliers just gave up 63 points to a Spurs team without Kawhi, Pau, Manu and Rudy Gay.  :o

Kevin Love was just knocked to the ground and not a single teammate helped him up. Sheesh.

Love should seriously demand a trade.

He probably has Stockholm syndrome as this point.  I suspect he's too mentally broken to even desire a trade.
