Overtime in Brooklyn. Derozan missed the three at the buzzer. Crabbe hopefully is okay.

Anthony Davis just rolled his ankle coming down from an alley-oop finish attempt. He was fouled on the play.

He was uninjured enough to shoot his two free throws, but then intentionally fouled Tolliver as the ball moved up the court so that he could limp off the court and go to the locker room to get checked out.

I'm not a hot take type of guy, but that rubbed me the wrong way.

Why so?

It sounds like a smart enough play to me. Any other decision and his team potentially loses points.

Oh man, Lowry just took a HARD fall on his back from several feet in the air. He might've fractured his back; it was that hard. He tried walking and couldn't even do it on his own.

That's a nasty fall by Lowry. Yeah, a bad back can really screw your whole body strength. Im suffering on the same problem and couldn't walk properly.

Looking like a rough finish from the Cs perspective. BKN definitely didn't get the calls down the stretch - Dinwiddie got destroyed by Ibaka on that dunk attempt and Ibaka was all over Acy on the loose ball that led to the jump ball.

Anyway, hope Lowry is okay - that was a hard fall, but maybe it will just be a stinger.

That looked like a pretty dirtbag move by IT.  Completely deserved to be ejected.   Lets see what his fine is going to be.  Cavs probaby don't care if he gets suspended because he is out every other game anyway.

I can’t even figure out what he was attempting there. Was he anticipating Wiggins was going to jump?

No idea what IT was thinking—wasn't even a "basketball play." And also no idea what Lowry was thinking—he had no chance at blocking that shot, and was even on the wrong side of the rim.

IT has been tossed 4 times in his career, he’s no angel.

How many of those were for flagrant fouls, rather than techs?

IT generally isn’t a dirty player, he’s a mouthy one. His slap / chip / clothesline here is just strange, because there’s no apparent basketball reason for it.

It’s not much of a leap to go from mouthy to a flagrant.  he’s playing for a contract ,probably frustrated at his injury , getting smoked in the game , still probably wants to be in Boston. Easy leap really

Hawks effort on defense is embarrassing against LAC without Griffin. Is Coach Bud’s job safe?

Cool.

Kings up 89-82 on Spurs (missing Leonard, Green, Manu) with 6:53 to go.
