Looks like the Celtics aren't the best team in the East anymore.

Most fans would wait till we fell into second place, didn't have the best defense, weren't leading the conference in point differential etc, but by all means, hot take away!
Its not at all unreasonable to believe the Celtics arent the best team in the East, nor is it a hot take.

Cleveland is more talented than us and SHOULD  be better than us. the hot take would be to believe that a 17 game win streak DID make us the best team in the East.

We arent as good as our 18-4 record says and when the inevitable slump comes and we lose a couple game we wont be as bad as the doomsday gang will say we are then either.
Well here it is.

We've lost a few and aren't as bad as the doomsday gang says.
Quote from: George W. Bush
Too often, we judge other groups by their worst examples while judging ourselves by our best intentions.

Man, this NBA season has been wild.

Minnesota and OKC now the 4 and 5 seeds in the West? Dang...  :o

Felt like they were toiling a few weeks ago, oh how times change lol.

The thing is though, it feels like all the playoff teams are virtually set for each conference, barring a massive meltdown late in the season for a team or two. Like, the 9th seed in both conferences are like 2+ games behind (though still close), but after that the rest of them are bad teams/tankers for the most part. That's not to say they can't sneak in late in the season, but I wouldn't put my $$$ on it at the moment.

I saw it coming since the summer when Minnesota acquired Jimmy Butler, Jamal Crawford, Taj Gibson, and Jeff Teague. They would be a top 5 team in the West. OKC- obvious when they formed their own Big 3 of Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Carmelo Anthony.

Probably the worst final 3 minutes of basketball ive ever seen from the Knicks. Just missed free throw after turnover after missed free throw. It was bad.

Pulverized? It was a 7 point differential and the game was tied with about 4 minutes to go.

Cavs are stinking it up on the offensive end in Golden State. Fun stuff because neither team can do much

Love is feasting on GSW.  These 2 teams are still in a league of their own.  Their size alone stands out.  Barring injury, GSW will be winning another chip this year.

Old friend Crowder with a big shot there.  Man, this is GSW without Curry.  Unbelievably stacked.  For some reason, it's still jarring to see them play together.

Lol

How can you be mean on Christmas? It's literally sacrilegious.  I'm sober and rooting for Kyrie Irving today.

Wait how is saying "lol" that someone described a close game as being pulverized mean? I literally thought it was funny and laughed about it

LOL that was a CLEAR foul, Durant..

Dude fouled LeBron James not ONCE but TWICE at the end, there.

ANYONE could see that.

Then he's going to put off by saying "He's too big...he's too big"....LOL!

LeBron James is the BEST player in the NBA, period.

Durant should just stop.

Jeff Teague probably done for the year. Minny will need to look for PG help now.

Rozier for Shabazz?
