Dang, Austin Rivers better not say a word in that locker room.

He ruined Sunday dinner with the family! No dessert

Austin rivers shoots 65% from free throw. Why does he play in crunch time when free throws are crucial? Lol

Clips fans on another board:

“Nepotism cost us another win”

“I honestly didn't want Doc fired because it would be messed up our chemistry during the season and might cause some chaos. This was the last straw. Amy other coach, disregarding Pop, Carlisle, Stevens, would have been fired after giving up a 3-1 lead to the Rockets. A coach that has terrible rotations, wasn't able to form a respectable bench for years, then the entire front office got revamped to get him a good bench and he still doesn't even use any of the bench, overplaying the players to the point that they themselves have even complained about it. It's not really a comeback if you still lose. And in this case the coach's son cost us the game. I don't care if he gets fired mid-season, Doc is an overrated coach who should've been fired years ago. Ok that's the end of my rant.”

A few guys had monster games tonight.  Several amazing players in this league.  I wonder what Lillard could do in a better environment.  Same for Zinger, actually.

Harden went off for 56 points, 13 ast (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aq9H1_3Q3Gw)

Porzingis had 40 pts, 8 rebs, and 6 blks (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsBT7kihaTE&t=49s).

Lillard went off for 36 pts and 13 ast (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Olfm84UV0c8).

OKC down double figures to Sacramento. What a dud start for them. Top talent not meshing.

Blind freddy can see they should bring Melo off the bench. He would never accept that role though.

SSS.

Gotta give Melo, Westbrook and George some time to figure and fix their chemistry woes.

To me this is just more evidence Westbrook doesn't really know how to co-exist with other stars very well.

The easy target will be their terrible bench, though.  And while it's certainly a big factor, I think the issue runs much deeper than that.

No reason to blame their bench.  Their big 3 went 15-54 tonight.

Where is the defense this year in the NBA? As a Vegas resident i have noticed the total points are up between 5 and 15 points every game. I got to credit Stevens for keeping the Celtics focus defensivly when nobody in the NBA is playing defense.

They could still figure it out.

I felt that getting George was a great move for them, but once they got Melo for depth I felt its a backwards move.

Just a product of today’s league. Heard today that Houston averages shooting 45 three pointers a game.
