I honestly don't think they have the personnel to play .500 ball right now. This is like historically bad defense and Rose, Love, Wade and Korver don't even have the potential to play average D (Love probably used to, but he is even slower with a banged up knee). Thompson was their only slight defensive presence down low. Gortat is already 3-3 with 8 points in 7 minutes.

I am sure they will win some games outscoring people, but they really are not going to be knuckle down to get stops like they could in previous seasons when these guys were all younger (even Lebron)

BTW it goes without saying that the Wizard are playing terrible defense this game too. However, you can at least see the potential of them having plus defenders in Wall and Porter. I have no idea how good or bad Beal is on D.

Both teams might legitimately hit 40 this first quarter... No interest in defense by either team lol

Cav's need to start making trades if they want to salvage their season. This isn't an overreaction given their squad and when Thomas comes back, their defence is going to get worse! They need to start flipping their assets for two way players or at least 3 and D guys...otherwise it's guaranteed James will walk.

Inthought the wizards played D .

This a joke ......Bron , with wide  open lanes to the rim,  free fast breaks ,  no one even putting a hand in his face as he shoots threes ....

I would be going wild as a coach. .....watching this all star nothing defense game.  Looks like an exhibition game.

When I watch them play it just makes me even more happy to know CBS is in Boston. Team really gets by on like 80% talent. They aren't coached well and they play really lazy. Will never get where they want unless other teams are injured.

74 to 66 at the half.

Cavs shooting something like 67%.

Just pitiful defense all around. Both teams just taking turns scoring on each other with minimal defensive effort.

gonna give Lebron 60 points ...very little defense on him.   what a joke he is allowed to play ball like a fullback using his arm as a battering ram driving to rim.  NBA is a joke ....when it comes to this guy.

I keep telling everyone that Wall is completely overrated on defense.  He gets a couple steals when he gambles, but he, along with the entire team, plays really soft defense.  Especially against the PnR.

Yeah Wall, the Cavs clearly tanked to avoid your superior squad!

The same squad that let Kelly Olynyk crush you in the 4th quarter of a Game 7  (where Wall himself had 0 points that quarter as well)

Lol S-O-F-T!

That new ref has been atrocious all night long on both sides. What is with the league bringing in so many new refs this year? There's been at least half a dozen games I've watched with a new ref doing a real bang-up job
