Way too much is being made of these early season games.  They're not much more meaningful than preseason games in the large scheme of things.  LeBron was open last season about being far more concerned with the team's development than wins in the regular season.  Worked out pretty well for the Cavs, and they still have the best player on the planet.

Is Lebron injured? He's playing pretty passive.

That's the typical regular season Lebron. He's been coasting for years now. But he can't now that Kyrie is gone. Coast too much and they'll face the danger of missing the post season.

True. 16 points in 36 down double digits at home, you'd think he'd have some interest.

He has been coasting but I can't see them missing the post season in the eastern conference...

They won't, but they have to grind every game now with Lebron playing 40+ minutes. 4-8th seed is now a possibility with them if Lebron continues to coast. Their roster reminds me of 2014 Nets.

Yeah, until the Cavs prove they can’t turn it on in April, I’m going to believe they will. I’ve seen this story before.  I don’t think the Cavs really care if they get the 8 seed, so long as they’re in the playoffs.

Losing badly to the knicks. Are the cavs really our biggest threat in the east still? Wonder if a team like the wizards could beat this cavs team in 7

See this is the problem with the Cavs. I blame Lue. For a lot of things, but minutes management is one of them.

If you're really not too concerned about records and seeding, then keep Lebron at 28 and then there are minutes for Korver, JR, Wade, and Crowder at the wing too.  Why burn out the aging one for nothing?  Also since their problem is playing w/o LBJ on the floor, he needs to sit some for them to find a groove when he rests for real.

I hope Lue gives most of his checks to charity. He sure isn't worth them.

LeBron will be 34 next season and he run Irvin off .

Domantas Sabonis went 9 for 9 today against the Spurs. He has gone 7 for 7 two other times this season.

He must've done some old school Soviet training with his father this summer.

And Hoosier Olapdipo is tied with LeBron and Durant for 5th in the league in scoring average

Who needs Paul George?

2 straight quality win for the Pistons. They might be a good team and a possible playoff contender this season.

Warriors come up short somehow  :o :o

Durant: 28 points 71% from the field 43% from 3.
Thompson: 29 points 63% from the field 57% from 3.
Curry: 27 points 65% from the field 43% from 3.

Sheesh Pistons got a lot of contribution. Bradley leading the team with 23 points, but there were 5 players with 15+ points.

I'm interested in Orlando. If someone here has watched their games, has something changed by comparison to last year?
