Time to hold onto the two seed and rest guys. Don’t think they can catch the craptors

Still time left.

Exactly and we still have to play Raptors twice and they are only currently 2.5 ahead...it will all come down to who really cares about the one seed.

If Washington overtakes The Cavs for the three seed then it may be a fight for the two...

I don't mind. Last year's series was probably the most intense and competitive matchup in the playoffs.

Boston can help themselves out even if the Pacers win Sunday...Cavs are .5 up on both them and the Wiz for third...

My ideal situation would be if the Raps finish one...they have to go through the Cavs in round 2 while Boston at 2 gets either Wiz/Pacers...

I just don't see Boston getting to #1...but I do think they match up fine with the Cavs if it comes to that.

thats role players as opposed to stars .  Role player will have a great game one night , maybe two then suck out loud .  Avery Bradley was master of this inconsistent offense output .  Now other than Bron and love , they have like four AB s with mediocre defense.  Thats not winning a series against teams like Rockets or Warriors or even Celtics.

The overreaction to the cavs adding the role players is easily top 5 overreactions on this forum all time

Yep, they traded away an all-star and several draft picks to add role players and take on long term salaries. In fairness though, the overreactions were driven in part by the media hype, particularly ESPN but also others, who made it sound as if the Cavs acquired 3 all-stars for a pile of poop.

Gotta agree with this. The hype was really driven nationally on ESPN and NBATV and their digital media outlets.

A former All-Star who certainly hasn't played like one this season, and probably won't ever reach that level again.

Nance and Clarkson have objectively been more productive this season than Thomas.

There were only 2 Cavs with a plus rating last night in that horrible loss to Clippers. Jeff Green and Zizic  8) -

Anthony Davis had an interesting game today:

25 points, 11 rebs, 3 assists, 3 steals, 10 BLOCKS

I can't take it anymore.

With several bigs out, Cleveland just has nobody with the size to deal with Lopez and Randle down low.

Let's hope the Lakers can keep it up in the 2nd half. When I turned it on, they were up by 10, but the lead dwindled down to 2 pretty quickly. Nice way to finish up the half, though.

Btw, super-annoying to be cheering on the Lakers, but the Cavs officially fall to 4th tonight with a loss and that is in our best interest regardless of how poorly they look right now. With our luck, Philly and Washington will also pass the Cavs in the standings and we will still play them in the 2nd round  :P
