Going to be a hell of a grind the first few months until these guys get more comfortable.

Once Morris comes back (hopefully in a week), it should get better for the time being.

It's almost as if we lost our second most important player and are still trying to adjust on both ends of the court :o

Another tough loss. I would have preferred Milwaukee at home last night and getting blown out by CLE tonight. Two close losses are never good.

Another solid effort by Brown tonight, though, and I am a continued believer in Rozier.

Really too bad about Kyrie - so far he is no IT, but I am sure he will get it figured out. Besides, IT may never be IT again, so there is that.

Team is emotionally gassed and these aren't home court REFS. Tough night after a worse one last night. Gordon Hayward is in surgery right now and I'm thinking about him more than this game, maybe team mates are too.

Holy hell, people need to chiiillllllaaaaxxxxx. This is virtually a brand new team playing a really tough double-double to start the season. Oh, and we're literally down two starters who happen to play the same position as the guy that's killing us, not even mentioning the Hayward incident...

They deserve time, but Kyrie is still the same player he was in Cleveland. If you're relying on that player to take you places...good luck.

Kyrie had a terrible shooting night.  No conclusions.  One game.

At times it looked like it would be better if Kyrie just went iso instead of having a big set a pick.  But I don't want to watch Kyrie go into iso mode all game either, he's a big reason for our terrible offensive 4th quarter.

Terry Rozier looking like the Celtics Per-36 champion this year...

Per 36 over the first two games so far:
19.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 4.8 steals, 0 turnovers, 44% FG, 43% 3PT

Edit: Corrected.

LOL you aren't biased against him at all.

He is a better player than IT. Every single GM in the league would trade IT for Kyrie.

Please, quit hating. And I hate it when people saying hating, but you truly, truly are.

This.  We all knew it was going to take a while to gel, plus we lost Gordon.  Kyrie isn't going to bale us out every night, IT didn't either.

Kyrie's a good player. Good players have bad games, and that's fine. But this is who Kyrie is. He's a volume scorer, a poor passer, and his default is always going to be low-percentage isolation looks. Again, he's good. Most nights will be way better than this, but he is not a superstar that will carry his team.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Another BS call.  These refs need to go officiate high school games.

This is going to be a growing process...and for a while.

This team with the injury to Hayward has to depend on really young players.
