Thoughts?

shooting 45%. Played great defense too. And put these stats after looking like a lost rookie the entire first half (justifiably so after the events that happened)Z

Him and Brown are going to develop fast with Hayward out. They have the talent and the right mindset.

Nice!!!!

TP for you! On a day that would be horrendously heart breaking under any other circumstances, the play of Kyrie, Tatum, Brown and Rozier really went a long way to lessening the pain.

In fact as much as the Hayward injury hurts, I'm so enthusiastic about those four guys that I still have a smile on my face.  :)

I hope Tatum claims the starting PF role and runs with it.

Also, we rebounded better than expected -- but then again, we played a team who started Jae Crowder at PF.

Tatum had a very solid 1st game, I like what I am seeing,  he started out kinda nervous but came roaring back in the 2nd half. There was a clip on TNT that showed Kyrie mentoring him on the sidelines, I like what I saw in that

Better to see this thread than one on Horford:

9 points on 2/7 shooting

I am very happy to see Tatum and Brown shining bright, but we are going to need a lot more production out of Horford with Hayward out.

I hope Tatum claims the starting PF role and runs with it.

Hard to see Tatum losing his starting role now. Morris AND Smart would have to move ahead of him.

If he can put up a Bird like rookie season that definitely softens the blow of losing GH
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

That, or the team can decide to go back to starting Baynes. Don't think either of these scenarios really makes us better unless Tatum develops a major case of rookienitis down the stretch.

Horford had 7 rebounds and 5 assists. I have no problem with that.

As far as (semi)official measurements go, LeBron was 6'8 in shoes, and Tatum -- 6'8.25. That would be a smidge taller.
