So this is kinda similar to Rondo's elbow issue? I really hope so because Rondo managed to return early from that injury.

Just settle for Hayward being potentially slightly better off and leave it at that.

how much must that have hurt to have that thing reset right there on the spot...shoot...

sounds like it just popped out of place vs any serious breaks

i can't imagine they can reset if there was bones broken/fractures and cause further damage
idk but the team early on announced so far a fractured left ankle diagnosis

It's likely the opposite, if it "pops out" imagine how much damage it will do to the ligament
on the other hand if it just broke to half according to the situation it can be only minor injury to ligament

Well at least Gordon won't be in pain much longer I'll hope

Would complely suck having to go to the airport board a plane and dealing with that

Gordon would have been in zero pain by the time he was placed on the med-vac jet. Believe me - I'm sure they hooked him up with some powerful IV meds quickly.

well crapavous. fractured tibia take a good 6 months to heal.

sigh...doubtful hayward will be back this year if this is true. sigh.  :(

but, maybe it heals quicker with surgery and treatment....maybe.

This isn't the Old West. I'm sure they numbed him up before touching his leg. Last thing to worry about is his pain at this point - he ain't feeling any........

.............and neither will I at the end of this fifth of Crown.
This is a nite to drink and pray for Gordon Hayward and family.

thanks

but what do they mean they reset then?

hard to say. but so far we have heard a number of conflicting medical reports. we will know more tomorrow for sure.

According to above information and the video, the possibility(my best wish actually) is his tibia broke first when he lands which further cause minor ankle dislocation, you can just put both back

Latest report says dislocated ankle and fractured tibia, so yeah, they popped the ankle back and reset the tibia. Thank goodness we got a new medical staff this offseason! I hate to say it, but with the previous staff they would have likely botched it.

If you can reset someones ankle don't you have to be sure it's a clean break? If theres pieces of bones floating around obviously you wont try to snap it back into place?
