Really? What was the reason given?

(edit) ah, found a link saying its knee soreness. I guess thats what you get from extended time off. Good opportunity for Tatum.

Added the reason above. Might be more than 1 week.

Tatum is likely starting on opening night, along with Kyrie, Hayward, Horford, and Brown:

Hmm, interesting. So Tatum is going to start on the Celtics before Fultz starts on the 76ers.  :P

Hopefully Lebron is cautious and doesn't play the first game, too.

Sound like he has some fitness/system catching up to do. Better that than knees.

Can you get Wally Pipped without ever playing a single game for a team?

Yeah -- not exactly a Wally Pipp moment, but Tatum does have the opportunity to not lose the starting job.  Hope he makes the most of it.

Sounds like typical Celtics injury reporting B.S.  Be "reevaluated after a week or two"??? That's some "knee soreness"!  He's unhappy with his role?  C's are unhappy with him? Both?  Nobody misses two weeks after a couple of practices and a few minutes in a preseason game because they're sore, unless there's an underlying statement to be made by someone!  More to follow, me thinks.
