Flirting with the triple double right now with 9 pts, 8 rbs and 5 ast. Let's see if he can keep it consistent in the regular season.

8 rebounds?

Go figure. Here in Boston he would also get 8 rebounds... for the other team's 3rd-string center  ::)

KO is going to have a long, productive NBA career. I hope that doesn't alarm people. I wish him the best - he was always a team player and came up big when we needed him.

Personally, I like his fit in Miami. He would seem to work well next to a prototypical big man who does all the stuff that he doesn't prefer to do.

Great to see, but its the Hawks in preseason. As a 5yr 'vet' KO should be putting up good numbers.

If I remember correctly he often teased us with strong preseason play.   If KO were to ever bring his A game constantly every night he'd be an all star.   The problem is he is terribly inconsistent and his A games are few and far between.  He was a beast his last year of college and he crushed summer league but then some passive doppelganger showed up and the rest was the KO we've come to know.   I really liked the kid and hope he figures it out.

KO is my biggest disappointment drafted by the Celtics. mainly due to the fact that a friend of my family talked to a scout for the spurs who really got me hyped about KO the season we drafted him.... which is why I've always been so hard on him.

anyway, the scout said "if KO can translate his game to the pro's the Celtics had the steal of the draft".

obviously KO can play at this level but consistency is his biggest issue.

What if CBS believed in legit centers? Paired with KO....well Whiteside is going to help him

I've been told by many celtic fans that KO "was the perfect guy for steven's system".

KO strikes me as the sort of player who will become consistent when his confidence and self belief really take over. Great if that happens for him, just not on nights he is playing against Boston.

KO was well liked by the team.  Danny knew he was going to get a nice raise and he had to decide where to put his money .  I hope he does well , just not against us ....LOL.

Let's put on the brakes. Not sure how many of you guys actually saw the game or just the read the box score. Olynyk did not start, did not play with the starters, was the 4th player off the bench (Winslow, Richardon, Johnson came in before him) and went up against the likes of Collins, Muscala, and Babbit. Olynyk committed 5 turnovers. 1 was off a hesitation to shoot where he passed up an open shot, pump faked unnecessarily, and was called for a travel. 2 other ones were on moving screens.

As for Hawks rookie John Collins, he looked sensational. Olynyk couldn't keep him off the boards. Collins finished with 9 points 15 rebounds, and 0 turnovers in less minutes than Olynyk.

Thank goodness that you put "the" in the title, otherwise this thread would be really awkward, lol .
