Interesting to me that Jaylen said something like, "My job is every night is to slow whoever the best player on the other team is down."

This sounds like he's gotten an indication that he's the starter and the defensive stopper on the perimeter this season. I hope it's true and he's up to it.

Yeah, he's got that 2 spot for sure. He'll get a fairly good run at that position too, I would expect we would need to start 10-10 for him to lose the job to Marcus, (or Hayward playing the two in some weird lineup).

I wanted to watch all of these interviews, but the reporter constantly typing near the microphone was driving me insane.

Is Morris' absence related to his court issues?

I believe Danny mentioned it during his interview. Morris will hopefully be in camp when his trial is over.

Finally finished listening to all of these. I thought these were interesting:

When Hayward is asked about his impression of Boston the only thing he really says is (paraphrasing) the intersections are insane.  ;D

Marcus says one of the reasons he decided to lose weight was because he was having back problems during the playoffs last year. Bad enough he was having trouble sleeping. He says he weighed in that day and was 223 and hasn't weighed that little since college. He also mentions he was working out with Chauncey Billups this summer, which sounds great to me. I'm optimistic about his season.

Rozier mentioned that wings like Jaylen and Jayson (and, presumably Hayward) are going to be expected to push the ball off of rebounds and that if Rozier or Smart wind up on the wing, then they're the wing and that everyone is going to have to be interchangeable on offense.

Semi talked about watching film of Crowder and emulating him, so I guess he's thinking that same thing as a lot on this board.

Maybe it's just the accent but Baynes seems like a fun guy and a good guy to have in the locker room to bring some levity and people together. He talked about being excited to get to know everyone off the court. I can imagine Celtic get-togethers at the Baynes residence.

Danny Talks about not signing someone to that last roster spot so they can see what they have in the young guys right now and give them an opportunity to show what they're capable of.
