First Sully then IT, now Smart coming out with his problems last year-certainly looks like miss management of our players health
.That goes from training, to diet, to diagnosis.
These guys are priceless and expensive and their long health over the season can effect the playoffs. With the youth the celts have getting in peak shape and holding it is a priority all season-We got some big bodies -so diet during of comfort eating during travel should be monitored how easy it is to let slip and the dramatic improvement of vertical and speed as exampled by
Marcus.
Rozier used to eat a spaghetti sandwich-a big no no

Sully eating himself out of the league has nothing to do with our medical staff/trainers, imo, and Smart never had much leap to begin with, in addition to his "speed" not exactly being one of his selling points, iirc.

The whole training staff has been replaced.  Not sure of the point of looking in the rear-view mirror...

Both these guys it was on them.   Marcus however took corrective steps and Sully pretended to and believed his own BS.

It is most likely the late after game meals that got Sully in trouble and a general lack of discipline.  Who gains weight during the season when you're playing measurable minutes?

Being overweight is generally the player's fault; doesn't matter how good a diet plan they're presented with if they don't follow it.

It's injury treatment and prevention where the training and medical staff deserves scrutiny/blame, and they've definitely fallen short there.
