It Could be true. The good thing is we are starting over with new trainer and conditioning coach and the new medical staff and facilities as well as the medical partnership with GE should help too.

"Thomas was advised by the Celtics to take three months off following the Eastern Conference finals to heal the hip, and the inactive recovery plan did not bear many improvements, sources said.

Since adopting the Cavs' plan -- which includes a nutritional approach -- Thomas has made gains both physically and mentally, sources said, as he has experienced positive results."

-Per Article in ESPN.

the article doesn't say what the thread title says.  I'm not sure it is even implied.

EDIT: footey has the actual quotes, and again I don't think that claims what the title says it does
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

probably the reason why Ed Lacerte and Bryan Do no longer works for the Cs, probably need a change in medical staff...we'll see but yea i do not think the article once mentioned they claim they have superior medical staff?

I think the quote I pulled is virtually the same thing as what I say in the title. Not sure why you would second guess that.

Read the quoted language I pulled.  I think that is what they are implying, don't you??

I changed "Claim" to "Imply", since a couple of posters felt it was misleading.

Sounds like propaganda to me. They're still saying he'll be out until January at the very least. They're probably just doing all they can to convince Lebron, who is in a contract year, that they didn't trade for an injured player that they knew would miss a good portion of the season.

This was kind of my take too (just about being propaganda, I don't really know about the Lebron part).

because maybe he needed the 3 months of rest before he could do anything else and he was traded before Boston's doctors were able to adjust his schedule.

I'm not arguing that, but didn't you get the impression that this news report, provided by the Cavs' organization, implied that the Cavs' rehab program for IT was better than the Celtics' program?  I sure did.
