I wonder if Jaylen is getting envious as Jayson is getting such glowing acclaim from Pierce now Irving.
Another pairing Irving and Hayward with Horford in the middle
The oldest Celtic Marcus even says its a new me and Rozier is going to have breakout year
Guess i'll root for Semmi and then Yabusele'
I would love to see Semmi jump ahead on his defense and inspire -bring back the crazy energy of Crowder Smart -the intensity of the 2015-2016 defense it doesn't come around often

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
I am hopeful for Theiss. We need a shot blocker.

That was a bit sarcastic.   :P

Realistically, I feel that Marcus Smart is perhaps the most important player to watch.  If he can improve his FG% even moderately, he will be a true 2-way player.  2nd on my list would be Jaylen Brown.

I don't expect anything big from any rookies, even Tatum.  Everybody else in the rotation needs to perform to expectations.

In summary, it's Smart for me, followed by Brown (distant 2nd).

I'll miss AB and with Avery in mind, Smart could be the guy to watch if he can get a run at SG. This does depend on him improving his shooting percentage I believe. His defence and passing (which is underrated) would make him ideal alongside Kyrie and Hayward if he could score on the looks he gets.

His defence is different to AB's but will cause opposition players a similar amount of torment.

Honestly, I am looking forward to the crazy amount of story lines for the team this year.  Will Smart have a break out year? He really did get into great shape. I love the potential of Jaylen, will be excited to see if he takes the next step this season. Then, there's Jayson! I haven't been so excited to see a rookie play since PP.  Heck, I could have led this and ended this with Hayward and Kyrie!! So excited to see how they mesh with the Celtics!! I can't wait for the season to start! This is as exciting for me as KG's first season with Boston. No, I don't think it will end the same way, but will be a lot of fun to watch!
