So I'm renting a house in southern Vermont and am trying to find a way to watch the Celtics. I have Dish for a tv provider but they don't have CSN New England and DirectTV can't get a feed from the satellite through the trees.

Anyone help me out on how to watch the games, money isn't the issue.

League Pass with your local cable provider, dude. Is that an option?

Wouldn't you have to deal with local blackout rules?

Not sure how that works with a cable provider that doesn't carry the flagship station of a team, though.

It seems League Pass will block me out because I'm in the area (100+ miles in a different state)

That's what I thought might happen.

Internet streams are always an option, but those are for generally for people where money IS an issue.

Could you do Individual Team League Pass through NBA.com and just watch it through your computer or an app through your tv? Could you possibly give a different address in this case since it is paid up front and has nothing to do with your cable/location?

You can use a VPN.

Perfectly legal to use (unlike pirated streams/downloads), and chances are if you have a work laptop, every time you login outside of the office you have to use a VPN, so if you don't mind watching League Pass on a work computer then I would try this method first.

You can get a VPN for as low as a few bucks per month.  For privacy and security reasons, I recommend everyone use one anyways, a simple google search could explain why better than I could though.

Right now my work laptop says I'm in California, my home PC says I'm in New Jersey, and my cell phone says I'm in NYC, while I'm actually in none of these place.

Does DirecTV Now carry CSNNE? I've read mixed answers online, but that might be a solution if you aren't looking for League Pass but just Celtics games.

Yes, they do. No, you can't. Games are blacked out when not viewed locally.

Has anyone ever live streamed a Celtic game? I have access to an Xfinity account and heard you can live stream off the CSNNE web site (not that I know how to do that lol). Was curious if anyone has done it before.

I watch most my games via stream that way. You need the channel to be apart of your subscription though. Having xfinity alone does not * grant you access.

If I can stream it on to my lap top I can stream it onto my tv right? Is there anything else I need or need to know?

Yes, I used the NBA one team app which was subscriptions.   I had no problems but I have fiber to the house and a decent speed.  I used an Xbox 360 to stream mine also I have hard wired my house so I do not depend on wifi with CAT 6.

Wasn't sure where to post this question and didn't want to start a new topic.

Does anyone use Youtube TV? I was thinking of making the switch but was not sure if I would be able to watch all of the Celtics games (or Red Sox).
