The most shocking thing was that he somehow played for Slovenia in the Euros this year. A country he has never been to or has any connection to. They just gave him passport cause he has the same agent as Luka Doncic and Slovenia were looking for hired guns. FIBA really needs to clean that stuff up cause it is ridiculous.

But yeah, he wants minutes and won't find that here.

You don't think he'd get minutes here? The Celtics are still a little thin at the Center spot.

He hasn't played in the NBA in 3 years and played on 4 teams in 6 years. Would he play over Hoford, Barnes, Morris? No. He would have to prove himself with Ojeleye, Theis, and Yabusele. He isn't leaving a steady high paying job for a top Euro team to maybe get some minutes.

Maybe that's right but I think he'd be far more mobil than Baynes and he can shoot from outside. He's a good shot blocker. I don't think any team is going to guarantee a player minutes. Randolph would have to earn his minutes. You are probably right that's he's not coming but he'd be a good fit.

I'm not sure who it'll be but it sure seems like we need one more player who can play at the center or BIG, position. A 3rd string center that can maybe grab a couple of boards and play some defense if pressed into action. Unless that guy is a vet who can pick up The Celtics system really quickly, I hope they sign someone before camp.
